What is font licensing and why is it important?
Font licensing is the legal agreement that defines how, where, and by whom a font may be used. This includes formats like desktop, web, app, ePub, broadcast, and other usage. It matters because fonts are intellectual property: using them outside the license can lead to compliance issues, fees, or legal action. Beyond risk, licensing ensures you have the right files, performance, and support for your intended medium, and it respects the creators whose work shapes your brand’s voice.
What's the difference between personal and commercial use?
Personal use is for personal stuff (e.g. You're writing an essay you print out and put on your refrigerator. You print out labels and tape them to every object in your home.)
Commercial use is for anything that may potentially generate income for you, a client, or either directly or indirectly (e.g. A social media post, a logo, a magazine, a website, an app, etc)
What file formats do you provide?
OTF, TTF, and webfont variants (WOFF/WOFF2).
Can I modify your fonts?
Nope.
Can I use your fonts for logos and branding?
Yep! You just can't then export it as a font file.
What if I need to share fonts with clients or printers?
Outline the typeface and share the outlined typeface, or have the client or printer acquire the appropriate license for the work's context.

Can I get samples or try fonts before purchasing?

Do your fonts support multiple languages?
